Barça Lassa beat Bada Huesca (39-23) by sixteen goals at the Palau Blaugrana, with Dolenec (eight goals), Tomás (seven goals) and Möller (16 stoppages) the protagonists in a high-octane match.
The game began with the visitors exerting some pressure, but Möller’s five saves from eight shots in the first five minutes allowed Barça Lassa to counterattack. By the eighth minute, the hosts were 8-4 to the good, and they increased it to 11-6 less than 10 minutes later.
Six goals without reply
Between the 20th and 27th minutes, Barça hit six consecutive goals without reply, meaning they headed into half-time with a healthy 19-10 lead. Even so, Bada Huesca came out firing in the second half. Dolenec and Ariño took the edge off of their comeback (23-13, min 35), and once again Barça found a dizzying rhythm based on quick counterattacks (28-15, min 40).
Total control in the second half
The hosts continued to pour forward at every opportunity, not allowing Bada Huesca to settle for even a moment. By the end of the match the 39-23 score was a fair reflection of the total control Barça had in the second half.
