Training focus shifts to Villarreal game

The Barça squad had a day off following their midweek win against PSV Eindhoven, but were back to work on Friday morning as they turned their attention to Sunday's LaLiga fixture. The latest round of league action pits them against Villarreal in a 6:30pm kickoff.

The session involved recovery work for the starting lineup from the game in the Netherlands, whilst the rest of the group were joined by Barça B players Miranda, Chumi and Iñaki Peña. Sergi Samper and Thomas Vermaelen also trained for part of the session with the rest of the squad, as part of their recovery process from their respective injuries.
