Movistar Estudiantes - Barça Lassa: Road win on tough court (84-101)

Center Ante Tomic scored 18 points and point guard Thomas Heurtel poured in 17 as FC Barcelona picked up a 17-point road victory at Estudiantes on Sunday afternoon in Madrid.

Huertel added nine assists, and Tomic grabbed three rebounds to go with three assists of his own. Power forward Chris Singleton scored 13 points on perfect 5-5 shooting from the field. Adam Hanga also scored 13, to go along with a team-high four rebounds.

Seven of Heurtel’s nine assists came in the first half as Barça was able to rack up easy baskets built on quick passing around the perimeter and lights-out shooting. By the half, Barça had built a 21-point lead, at 51-30.

Barça’s suffocating defense in the second half kept Estudiantes at bay, giving the Catalans their eighth win of the season in nine games played. Barça is tied with Real Madrid in first place.
