Ter Stegen's amazing double-double against Sevilla

The German stopper was the hero of the top-of-the-table clash with two moments, and four saves, of absolute brilliance

He’s one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Some might even say he is THE best. And his performance against Sevilla on Saturday night is very strong supporting evidence for that claim.

Just after the hour mark, Marc-André Ter Stegen showed off his lightning reflexes to not only keep out a near-certain goal from an André Silva header but also blocked the follow-up from Franco Vázquez.

But if one double-save wasn’t enough, he then did the same with three minutes to go. He turned away Pablo Sarabia’s strike from point-blank range in the area and then prevented Wissam Ben Yedder from knocking in the rebound.

Not one, not two, but FOUR moments of magic that I’m sure you’ll agree are worth another look. What are you waiting for? Click on the video!
