FC Barcelona Lassa 4-1 Citylift Girona HC: Catalan League finalists

After coming back from a goal down and against an inspired goalkeeper, semi-final victory was far more difficult than the final score suggests

Barça Lassa are through to the Catalan League Final after defeating CityLift Girona HC 4-1 in a semi-final that wasn’t truly decided until deep into the second half, mainly due to the superb Girona goalie Jaume Llaverola and several VAR-based decisions - the first time Barça have ever been involved in such video-based decisions.

But a brace from Alabart and singles from Pablo Álvarez and João Rodrigues eventually got the job done after Girona had scored first.

The final  of a competition Barça have not won since 1998 is on Tuesday at 1.00pm CET against Lleida Llista Blava.
