FC Barcelona's Catalunya Super Cup squad revealed

Some of the first team have been given a few days' break, while the remainder were joined by eleven reserves who are included in the side that faces Espanyol for the Catalan title in Tarragona

Following a weekend that brought a dramatic last-minute victory at Valencia, FC Barcelona’s attention now switches to the Catalunya Super Cup on Tuesday night in Tarragona, where they and Espanyol will be kicking off at 9.30pm CET.

Luis Enrique has given special permission to all of Ter Stegen, Rakitic, Sergio, Luis Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Digne, Sergi Roberto and Umtiti to take a well-deserved break, and none of those players will be required to report for training until Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, Piqué, Iniesta, Jordi Alba, Cillessen and Aleix Vidal are all out through injury, the latter having been added to the list after picking up a thigh injury in training on Monday, and whose availability over the next few days will depend on how things develop.

But Arda Turan’s own fitness concerns are over and the Turk was able to train as normally along with the remaining available first team players at the Ciutat Esportiva.

They were joined by a number of players from Barça B that have been included in the squad for Tuesday’s game with Espanyol, and which is as follows: Masip, Denis, Arda, Paco Alcácer, André Gomes, Mathieu, José Suárez, Palencia, Mujica, Nili, Marlon, Moisés, Martínez, Sarsanedas, Aleñá, Alfaro, Gumbau and Carbonell.
