FC Barcelona Lassa picked up a tidy 4-0 win over Noia Freixenet on Tuesday evening to restore their six-point advantage at the top of the table.
Barça started on the front foot at the Ateneu Agrícola Sant Sadurní and it did not take long for them to break the deadlock. Former Noia man Marc Gual played in Pablo Álvarez who made no mistake with the finish.
Pau Bargalló made it 2-0 on 22 minutes when a fine individual action inside the area was smartly put away to double the team’s advantage.
Thanks to the solid backline, Barça were able to resist any Noia hopes of a second-half comeback and, on 40 minutes, the win was put beyond doubt. Matías Pascual was the recipient of a Lucas Ordoñez assist in front of goal to hand a comfy three-goal cushion.
With three minutes left on the clock, Xavi Barroso sealed the win from the spot to give Barça their eighth win in as many games.
