Bartomeu attended the Supporters Clubs World Confederation final plenary session of the year

FC Barcelona's President, Josep Maria Bartomeu and the Director, Pau Vilanova, opened proceedings at the event

The Supporters Clubs World Confederation, which represents the FC Barcelona supporters clubs movement, celebrated their final plenary session of the year on Saturday 17 of December and the event was attended by FC Barcelona President, Josep Maria Bartomeu and the Director Pau Vilanova.

Bartomeu emphasised the sporting and social successes achieved this year and he spoke of the importance of the Extraordinary General Assembly, which took place on Sunday and was attended by the Presidents of the Federations of Supporters Clubs as delegate members.

Last plenary session of the year

The Confederations plenary, presided by Antoni Guil, was the final session of 2016 and the following points were passed: calendar for the elections of the Federations, the next steps in the implementation of the Federations Development Plan, 2016's accounts and budget, the events planned by the Confederation to celebrate the Members Solidarity Day, the Club's and Confederation's representation in supporters clubs events and the signature of the promotional plan with FC Barcelona.

The end of the meeting was followed by a dinner in the 1899 Auditorium, which was attended by the Vicepresident, Jordi Cardoner, and the Director in charge of Supporters Clubs, Pau Vilanova, along with members from the Supporters Club Commission and the Social Commission.
