Leo Messi made yet more history on Saturday by scoring against Las Palmas, the only top flight team that he had to get a goal against. That takes his overall tally of Liga victims up to 35, a record only ever matched by former Real Madrid striker Raúl.

He already knocked Leganés off his to-do list with a brace earlier this season.

Sevilla and Atlético Madrid have been on the receiving end of more Messi goals than any other club, 21 each, while he’s hit the target against Valencia and Osasuna 19 times. Deportivo, Rayo, Espanyol and Levante are next in line, while Real Madrid and Real Zaragoza have also suffered their own fair shares of Messi inflicted woe.

In total, Messi has scored 326 first division goals. No wonder they call him the best player in the world.
