The sixth Supporters Club Congress for Francophones was held this past weekend, in the city of Casablanca (Morocco) in an event organised by the Gent Blaugrana d'Anfa who managed to bring 19 supporters clubs together.
The congress kicked off on 28 April with a three-hour guided tour of the city of Casablanca. The official ceremony, however, began in the morning of 30 April at the Most Events hall, which opened with a welcoming speech from Youssef Bennani, President of the Anfa supporters club, and Antoni Freire, President of the FCB World Penyes Federation. In the evening, there was an exchange of mementos to the attending supporters club on behalf of FC Barcelona.
The closing ceremony was led by Xavier Vilajoana, member of the FC Barcelona Board who, in concluding his speech, presented an Institutional Cylinder to Youssef Bennani. The day ended with a gala dinner.
The Congress, which had a relaxed and festive atmosphere throughout, served as a meeting point for the 19 international supporters clubs.
