Barça are zoomed in as they continue readying for their penultimate league clash of the season

While Barça are in first place with two games to play, they are fully aware that a pair of victories may not be enough to bring home the hardware. That’s because second-place Real Madrid still have a game in hand— to be played next Wednesday night, at Celta.

But, even though, for the moment, Barça don’t control their own destiny, they are deeply immersed in preparing for this weekend’s game at Las Palmas with the aim of putting as much pressure on Madrid as they can in the final sprint.

That’s why, just a little over 72 hours away from Sunday’s encounter in the Canary Islands, head coach Luis Enrique Martínez kept a watchful eye on his players, as they trained with all the usual hustle and gusto. Before the session, the players and coaching staff wished Andrés Iniesta a happy 33rd birthday.

Adding to the group were the reserve players Carles Aleñá and Marlon Santos.

Barça will be back out on the practice field again on Friday at 11.00am CET.
