Umtiti and Dembélé qualify for the Round of 16
Both Barça players progress with France after the victory by Deschamps' team against Peru (1-0)
We have two more Blaugranas in the Round of 16. Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembélé join Luis Suarez, whose Uruguay side qualified on Wednesday. Didier Deschamps’ team progress after overcoming a combative Peru, coupled with their win against Australia (1-2) on the opening day, as well as the draw between Denmark and the Socceroos.
Before the third and last group game, France lead Group C with six points, Denmark have four and Australia have one. Peru, after the latest defeat, are eliminated with no points.
