Emirates NBD Egypt, new FC Barcelona Regional Sponsor

The bank is to be a club sponsor until 2020 with the option of a two-year extension on the deal

This morning, FC Barcelona and Emirates NBD Egypt have announced a strategic sponsorship agreement whereby the Egyptian bank has become a club sponsor until June 2020. Through this new deal, FC Barcelona has continued its expansion and extended its presence in the region.

As a result of this partnership, FC Barcelona and Emirates NBD Egypt will be working together to create a prepaid card whereby the bank’s customers will be able to enjoy additional benefits such as match tickets and exclusive draws for Barça themed materials.

The deal was presented in the presidential box at the Camp Nou and was attended by FC Barcelona director Silvio Elías, while Emirates NBD Egypt was represented at the event by Fuad Mohamed, Chief Operating Officer, Frederic de Melker, Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, and vice-president Head of Cards, Deepak Chandran.
