Dembélé debuts with an assist at Camp Nou

The new signing for FC Barcelona has made his debut as a blaugrana and he produced his first assist, creating the chance for Luis Suárez to add the fifth in the 5-0 win over Espanyol

Great debut for Ousmane Dembélé at Camp Nou. The blaugranes’ latest signing enjoyed his first minutes out on the field as a Barça player in front of the FC Barcelona fans at Camp Nou. If that was not enough, the Frenchman produced his first assist for his new club, putting in a perfectly weighted pass for Luis Suárez to get the final goal in the 5-0 win over Espanyol.

The Barça number 11 played a total of 22 minutes after coming on to replace Gerard Deulofeu in the second half. In his 11 touches he produced five good passes and Espanyol defender Aaron was shown a yellow card for hauling down the pace Frenchman.

Last season Dembélé was the best assist provider in the main leagues in Europe with a total of 20. A man who is no stranger to creating goals and he has shown just that on his debut at Camp Nou as a Barça player.
