Recovery session before the Champions League debut
Barça trained this Sunday on the Tito Vilanova pitch, after beating Espanyol in the first derby of the season
After their 5-0 win over Espanyol in the Catalan derby, FC Barcelona’s first team trained on the Tito Vilanova pitch on Sunday morning. With this season’s Champions League debut in mind, a recovery session was the order of the day, and Jokin Ezkieta from Barça B also joined the session.
Ernesto Valverde and his side will open their 2017/18 European campaign against Juventus, a team that the Blaugrana have met on a few occasions recently. The 'old lady' stopped Barça’s progress in the competition last year, winning a two-legged quarterfinal.
