This Friday on 20 October in Belgrade, Barça Lassa will play their 400th game in the Euroleague. They will be the first team to reach this historic figure which places them firmly as one of the greats of the competition in which they are playing their 18th consecutive season.
In that time Barça have reached the Final Four no less than seven times, 14 in total since the competition’s inception in 1988. The blaugranes have won the Euroleague twice, in 2003 with Svetislav Petic as coach and in 2010 with Xavi Pascual. The outstanding player of recent years has been legend Juan Carlos Navarro who has appeared in the competition on 319 occasions, scoring more than 4,000 points.
Barça have played some 780 games in European competition, 399 in the Euroleague, 243 in the European Cup, 73 in the Korac Cup and 65 in the Cup Winners’ Cup.
In those 780 matches, Barça have won 531 times, a 68% winning percentage.
