Andrés Iniesta: 'It will be a tough and demanding match'

The Blaugrana midfielder says that in the match against Chelsea, Barça must 'think about playing two almost perfect matches and not making any concessions because we will be penalised'

FC Barcelona's next challenge will be to achieve a good result in the first match of the Champions League Round of 16 tie against Chelsea, and Andrés Iniesta is clear: "It will be a tough and demanding tie. We will have to play two almost perfect matches to qualify."

It will be a special duel for the midfielder, who will return to the stadium where, in the 92nd minute of Barcelona’s semi-final against Chelsea on May 6, 2009, he scored to ensure Barça’s passage to that year’s Champions League final. "It was a golazo and fate wanted the ball to go in. From a personal point of view, it’s one of the best moments I’ve experienced in sport," he remembered fondly.

The Blaugrana captain also analysed the state of form in which his team finds itself ahead of the Stamford Bridge duel: "The team is in a good moment and we have to take advantage of it. We can’t make any concessions because we will be penalised. Each game is a story and every knockout is different.”
