Barça reach 100 goals for the season

With their goal against Atlético in the vital 1-0 win, FC Barcelona reach 100 goals in all competitions in the season 2017/18 with Messi as top scorer on 32 goals

Barça under Ernesto Valverde are having a fantastic season so far and his team have now reached 100 goals in official competition. The blaugranes, thanks to their 1-0 win Atlético, have now reached 100 goals in the current 2017/18 season with three months still to go and a minimum of 13 games remaining.

The blaugranes needed just 4 games in official competition to reach a century of goals. Leo Messi and Luis Suárez have been the main architects of this total with 32 goals and 23 respectively. The two strikers have added more than 50% of the goals so far this season with the others shared out in the following fashion: Paulinho (8), Alcácer (5), Rakitic (4), Alba, Arnaiz, Piqué and Denis (3), Coutinho, Deulofeu and Aleix Vidal (2), Busquets, Digne, Iniesta and Sergi Roberto (1), as well as six own goals.

68 have come in La Liga, 10 in the Champions League, 19 in the Copa del Rey with 60 coming at Camp Nou and 40 away from home.
