After the announcement of the Barça Legends game in Amsterdam against an Ajax Legends teams, the blaugranes announce another fixture, this time in Kolkata (India) on 25 November at 7.30 pm (local time). For the Barça Legends it will be their third visit to the country after games in September 2018 in Kolkata against Mohun Bagan and a game against Real Madrid in Mumbai in April 2025.

The match will take place at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, a stadium that can accommodate up to 68,000 spectators. It previously had a capacity of 120,000, but following renovations carried out a few years ago, the number of seats was reduced to improve the experience and comfort of fans attending the venue. The stadium is the same one at which Albert Ferrer's Barça Legends recorded a 6-0 victory during their game against Mohun Bagan FC in 2018.

Albert Ferrer, coach of the Barça Legends, has confirmed the presence of both Carles Puyol for the game, while the rest of the squad will be announced in the coming days.

Blaugrana presence in India

This fixture will help bring the Club closer to a country where interest in football and Barça continues to grow year after year. In fact, last autumn, six Indian cities hosted Barça Academy camps for young Barça supporters. Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata were selected as host cities, marking a return to a country where the Club had previously operated no less than six Barça Academies. During the summer, the Barça Academy held camps in Kochi, Chennai, and Kolkata, and this November the camps will return to Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
