Everything is ready for matchday two of the UEFA Champions League league phase. FC Barcelona landed in Istanbul on Monday morning before training in the afternoon at the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi, the home of Galatasaray, who they face on Tuesday at 9pm CEST.

The 22-man squad and Shane Kluivert

The session began at 6pm (7pm in Turkey), shortly after the press conferences given by Hansi Flick and Pau Cubarsí. The German coach had all his available first-team players at his disposal for the session on Turkish soil. Barça Atlètic player Hamza Abdelkarim and Shane Kluivert also took part, although the latter will be playing for Barça U19 in the UEFA Youth League.

Barça have therefore already had a taste of the pitch where they will play their second game in Europe's premier club competition. The Champions League is back, and the Catalans face a demanding test in what promises to be an intimidating atmosphere. The blaugrana will be looking for another victory to maintain their perfect start to the 2026/27 season, having yet to suffer either a defeat or even a draw.
