FC Barcelona Statement
In view of the forecast of extreme rainfall and the risk of flooding, and in accordance with the measures established by the competent authorities, FC Barcelona is suspending all activities scheduled to take place at the Club’s facilities between 8.00pm today, Saturday 3 October, and 2.00pm tomorrow, Sunday 4 October.
This measure affects all sporting activities and training sessions, as well as cultural, social and leisure activities and all events and activities scheduled during this period.
With regard to the women’s first-team football match against Real Madrid, scheduled for tomorrow at 5.00pm at Spotify Camp Nou, the Club is in permanent contact with Liga F and the relevant competition authorities to monitor the situation.
In this regard, FC Barcelona has requested that the match kick off at 7.00pm, two hours later than originally scheduled, in order to ensure that the stadium is fully operational and meets all safety requirements, as well as to facilitate spectators’ journeys and access to the stadium. The final decision will be taken tomorrow morning, depending on how the situation evolves and on the instructions issued by the competent authorities.
The Club will inform members and supporters of any updates through its official channels.
