FC Barcelona will remain top of La Liga for another week after a comprehensive defeat of Rayo Vallecano 5-2 at Spotify Camp Nou to record their third victory of the season in the competition. 

Coach Hansi Flick expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance. "It has been a good start to the season, which is what we wanted. Our opponents played well and pressed us, but our reaction after the first goal was good," explained Flick after the third league match of the campaign.

Praise for Raphinha, Gordon and Lamine Yamal

Hansi Flick was quick to highlight the performances of his first-choice attacking trio. Between Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon, they scored four goals and provided one assist.

The Barcelona coach first spoke about the Brazilian and his role as a centre-forward: "I expected this level from Raphinha. He's a fantastic player. He gives us exactly what we want for the team."
Flick also praised Lamine Yamal: "I'm very happy with him and with the way he plays."

Asked about the warm reception Anthony Gordon received at Spotify Camp Nou, the German manager was equally complimentary: "He's a decisive player when he has the ball."
Flick concluded the press conference by highlighting a quality shared by his attacking players: "We have a lot of pace, and that's always a good thing," concluded the Barça coach.
