Basel v Barça, live on Barça Play and the YouTube channel in Spain only
FC Barcelona’s preseason continues, and fans can keep following the action by subscription on Barça Play and the club’s official YouTube channel. This Sunday, Barça face FC Basel at St. Jakob-Park (4.30pm CEST). However, the match will only be available to watch live in Spain, as the club does not hold the rights to broadcast it outside the country.
The match can be watched with Catalan, Spanish and English commentary on Barça Play, while only Catalan commentary will be available on the YouTube channel.
Barça members have Barça Play included as one of their membership benefits. Fans who are not members can subscribe to Culers Premium. The friendlies will also be available on FC Barcelona’s official YouTube channel to users subscribed as the club’s YouTube Pack Premium Members.
Please note that the Estrella Damm Gamper Fest will be available worldwide on Barça Play and YouTube, except in Egypt. Barça face Al-Ahly on Wednesday 19 August at 8.00pm CEST, in what will be the first match of the season at Spotify Camp Nou.
Barça Femení preseason too
Barça Play (for members and Culers Premium subscribers) and YouTube (for Premium subscribers) will also show Barça Femeni’s warm-up matches ahead of the start of the official season. On 15 August at 5.00pm CEST, the team travel to England to face Manchester City. In this case, the broadcast will only be available in Spain.
Then, on 21 August at 8.00pm CEST, it will be time for the Estrella Damm Gamper Fest, when the team face Brighton & Hove Albion. The broadcast of this match will not be available in the United Kingdom.
