FC Barcelona and Ajax have reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Jofre Torrents.

The Catalan defender, born on 28 January 2007 in La Selva del Camp, joined Barça from Reus Deportiu in the summer of 2017, when he joined the U12s. At La Masia, he progressed through the youth ranks all the way to the first team.

The left-back made his debut under Hansi Flick on the opening day of the 2025/26 La Liga season, in the 3-0 win at Son Moix. It was the first of four appearances he made for the first team, all during the 2025/26 season, a campaign in which he alternated between the German coach’s squad and Barça Atlètic in the Segunda Federación.
