FC Barcelona is most important multisport club in the world due to the achievements by the men's and women's football, basketball, handball, futsal and roller hockey teams. Throughout its history, the blaugranes have been a reference in European competitions, where they have been successful since the 1972/73 season when the roller hockey team won the first European Cup. Since that first one, the team have won another 21 to lead the way in the premier European club competitions.

The most recent Champions Leagues were won by Barça Women, who defeated OL Lyonnes 4-0 in the final in Oslo (Norway) to make it four in their history, and the handball team, who defeated Füchse Berlín 37-34 in the final four in Cologne to win their 13th European title.

Round number of 50

Those two successes made it a total of 50 Champions Leagues for Barça across the six professional FC Barcelona teams. The men's football team have won five, Barça Women four, the basketball team two, the handball team 13, the futsal team four and the roller hockey team 22.
