Ferran Torres key in Spain's win
The Spanish national side are through to the last eight of the World Cup after a 1-0 win over Portugal in the last 16. Four of the eight blaugranes in the Spain squad started the game and Ferran Torres came off the bench in the second half to play a vital role in the win.

Ferran Torres came on in the second half and his perfectly weighted pass for Mikel Merino's goal was the deciding moment of the contest.
Lamine Yamal and Cubarsí, 90 minutes
Lamine Yamal played all 90 minutes for the first time in this World Cup and Pau Cubarsí also featured for the whole game at centre half. Pedri and Dani Olmo were also in the starting line up with both blaugranes being replaced after 85 minutes of the contest.
Spain will now face the conquerors of co-hosts the USA, Belgium, in their quarter-final tie in Los Angeles on Friday at 9pm CEST.
