The Barça futsal team are the new league champions. Javi Rodríguez's side won the fourth game in the series and second in Murcia to claim their domestic title. The victory makes it now eight league titles for the team and brings the season to an end with the target achieved - European qualification for the first time in two years and the league won.

First half goals by Erick, Touré, Pito and João Víctor saw Barça ahead at the break (2-4), before Erick and Antonio made the final score 4-6.

Ahead at the break

Barça mirrored the match on Tuesday with a quick start, as Erick scored at the back post (0-1, min 1) before Touré scored expertly past Edu Sousa (0-2, min 3). All the same, ElPozo Murcia reacted and applied pressure on the blaugrana goal.

Dídac had to be alert to save a couple of dangerous chances, but ultimately a free kick by Marcel halved the lead (1-2, min 6). Javi Rodríguez's side kept up the pressure through, and a cracker by Pito (1-3, min 12) plus a João Víctor goal (1-4, min 14) extended the lead.

ElPozo then scored through Rafa from a dead ball, however, to draw closer again just before halftime (2-4, min 17).

Extra time

The home side were first to strike after halftime through a cross shot by Rivera (3-4, min 25). He wasn't finished either, as his long shot hit the post and went in to tie up the match (4-4, min 30).

The game was now end to end, with both sides having chances. It was a frantic period and home side keeper Henrique in particular stood strong to see the match into extra time.

Blaugranes win La Liga

The first half in extra time went the way of FC Barcelona though, Matheus with some great play to feed Erick, who cut back to beat Henrique and break the deadlock (4-5, min 42).

An important strike, but there was still time for another, as with 20 seconds to go, a foul for ElPozo Murcia ended up with Antonio scoring into the empty net (4-6, min 40) and the eighth league title was assured for Barça. Champions!
