Barça have one remaining fixture this season, a visit to Mestalla to take on Valencia with kick off at 9pm CEST on Saturday. The league champions will be looking to end their 2025/26 campaign with yet another victory after also claiming the Spanish Super Cup title during the season.

Good memories

Recent precedents bode well for Hansi Flick's side. Back in September the blaugranes registered a 6-0 win over Valencia at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Last season, in Hansi Flick's first official game in charge, Barça pulled off a 2-1 win at Mestalla thanks to a brace from Robert Lewandowski on the opening weekend of the league campaign.

Robert Lewandowski's last game

For Lewandowski, the trip to Valencia will be his final game as a blaugrana following his recent announcement that he is to leave the club at the end of the season. After an emotional farewell last weekend in the 3-1 win over Betis, his last game at Spotify Camp Nou, the Polish striker will bring an end against los che a highly successful Barça career in which over four seasons he won no less than seven trophies.

Joan Garcia, on track for the Zamora

The game in Mestalla could see Joan Garcia claim the Zamora Trophy, awarded to the goalkeeper with the best record in La Liga at the end of the season. After conceding just 21 goals in 30 games, the blaugrana is on an average of 0.7 per game, ahead of second placed Thibaut Courtois on 0.84 after conceding 26 goals in 31 matches.

Goal Europe

Carlos Corberán's Valencia side still have plenty to play for ahead of their final game of the league season. Currently in 9th place on 46 points, the Valencian club are just two points off seventh place and a possible place in Europe next season. A win against the blaugranes and favourable results elsewhere could see them back on the European stage in 2026/27.
