Given the recent declarations in some media outlets, FC Barcelona would like to clarify that Xavi Pascual is the only person considered to lead the basketball team project being developed jointly with the Club.

The General Manager of the professional team Juan Carlos Navarro stated as such on 10 April in Monaco when he said “I cannot see a future without Xavi Pascual”.

The Club also roundly and categorically rejects having met with any other coach regarding the immediate future of the position.
