Matches between Barça and Celta can be considered classic LaLiga fixtures. Games are usually very intense, with a lot of goals scored as a result of the attractive and attacking football both sides play.

The upcoming fixture is key in this final stretch of the LaLiga season, as a win would bring the blaugranes closer to retaining the league trophy.

Spotify Camp Nou impregnable

The team seem to have enjoyed being back playing at home. Flick's side have 11 consecutive victories in LaLiga at the Spotify Camp Nou, and factoring in the wins on Montjuïc and at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, Barça are the only side in LaLiga to have won all their home matches (16 in total).

Celta, third-best away side

Giráldez's side are both competitive and unpredictable. They have 44 points in LaLiga and their current sixth place is not by chance, but the difference in points achieved at home and away is surprising.

Celta are the third-best away side in LaLiga for points with 27, having lost just twice in 15 games, which included a 0-2 win at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The figure totally contrasts against their home total of 17 points, the least in the competition alongside Oviedo and Levante (17), with seven defeats so far this season.

Lewandowski looms large

Robert Lewandowski seems to love scoring against Celta. The number nine has eight goals against the side from Vigo, only one fewer than the nine he has scored against Valencia, the most he has scored against a single side in LaLiga. In the away fixture at the Balaídos stadium, he got a hat-trick in a 2-4 win.

Aspas the go to guy

When thoughts turn to Celta, one of the first names to come to mind is Iago Aspas. The forward has certainly been a thorn in the side of the blaugranes, having scored 11 goals in 22 LaLiga matches against them, with Barça alongside Athletic Club as the teams he has scored most goals against.

What's more, those 11 goals make him the highest scoring opponent against the blaugranes in the domestic competition this century.

51 games and counting

Barça are a goal machine. The run of goalscoring is now up to 51 games in LaLiga, with 136 goals scored in total. It's the longest streak of any team in the five major European leagues. The next target is the 64 consecutive goalscoring games achieved up to October 2013.
