Osasuna Magna 1-5 Barça: Triumphant return
The FC Barcelona futsal side took an impressive 5-1 win away from home at Osasuna Magna courtesy of goals from Catela, Pito (2), Erick Martel and Sergio González. Javi Rodríguez's team controlled the game from the off and took an important three points as the league returned to action after the recent break.
Barça started strongly with Pito and Sergio going close early on. Osasuna keeper Asier made several early saves as the home side sought to weather the storm in Pamplona. However, after 11 minutes the blaugranes went in front, Catela scoring from the penalty spot after a foul on Pito. Osasuna were back on level terms just two minutes later when Saldise made it 1-1, the game then entering into a frantic period with neither side controlling proceedings. Before half time Barça were back in front, Pito finishing off a counter attack to make it 2-1 at the break.
The second half saw Barça increase the pace and intensity of the game and it came as no surprise when Erick Martel made it 3-1 after good work by João Víctor. With the blaugranes on top, Pito added his second of the game before Sergio González's goal rounded off the valuable win in a tricky away fixture.
