Lamine Yamal bids farewell to the Champions League with another record
The Barça teenager becomes the youngest player to a combined total of 10 goals and assists in the same season
Despite the painful defeat in the quarter-finals, Lamine Yamal ended his Champions League campaign setting yet another record. The teenager becoming the youngest ever player to record a combined total of 10 goals and assists in the same season. His goal against Atlético Madrid in the second leg of their quarter-final tie leaves him with a total of 6 goals and 4 assists this season at the age of just 18 years and 275 days.
Surpassing Haaland
The Barça teenager takes the precocious record from none other than Erling Haaland who record 10 goals+assists in the same edition of the Champions League at the age of 19 years and 212 days during his spell with Borussia Dortmund. Lamine has beaten that record with almost a year to spare.
