Another vital goal from Lamine Yamal in the victory over Athletic Club in San Mamés. The winning strike from the teenager was his 19th in all competitions this season, his best ever total as a blaugrana, surpassing the 18 he scored in 2024/25. 

More clinical in front of goal 

The blaugrana winger has always been an obvious talent but this season he seems to have polished his skills in front of goal. Now, as well as being a prodigious creator of goals, he is Barça's top score in all competitions this season. His 19 goals have come in just 36 matches compared to the 55 last season to score his total of 18 goals. As well as his goals he has also provided 14 assists and his total of 29 goals takes him past the 28 scored by Real Madrid's Rául González before the age of 19 back in the 1995/96 season. 

Lamine on fire 

Top scorer for Barça this season, Lamine has three more than Ferran (16), followed by Raphinha (14), Lewandowski (14), Fermín (11) and Rashford (10). Recently Lamine scored his first hat-trick for Barça in the league game against Villarreal and surely it will not be his last.
