The Barça roller hockey side took a valuable 7-1 win away at Caldes to retain second place in the OK League and to keep within range of current leaders Liceo.
Electric start
Barça got off to the best possible start when Eloi Cervera's cross found its way past keeper Héctor Sánchez and into the back of the net. A quick counter saw Barroso make it 2-0 to the blaugranes with just 12 minutes gone.
Caldes threatened to make a game of it when Ballart beat Carles Grau to pull one back for the home side. However, before half time another goal from Barroso saw Ricard Ares' team restore their two goal advantage.
In the second half Barça pushed home their advantage with goals from Ortigosa, Marc Grau and Pablo Álvarez. The win was rounded off by Sergi Llorca's seventh for the blaurganes to keep them in the hunt for the OK league title.
