Thursday's heavy winds that rattled Catalonia had died down, but it was a rainy morning that greeted the players at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this Friday. The Tito Vilanova was the venue, with the players naturally in a despondent modd after the serious setback of a 4-0 defeat at Atlético Madrid the night before.

The players that featured at the Metropolitano did specific recovery work in the gym while the remainder exercised as normal on the pitch.

Amidst the gloom there was a positive note. Raphinha was able to join part of the session that also included Tommy and Eder Aller from the reserves.

With the focus on Monday's Catalan derby away to Girona, the team will be back at training at 11am on Saturday and Sunday. Following the last of the three workouts ahead of the Liga encounter, coach Hansi Flick will be speaking the press.
