Barça 74-85 Paris Basketball: Home defeat
FC Barcelona have been beaten at the Palau Blaugrana by Paris Basketball (74–85) in a game defined by inconsistency and irregular outside shooting. After growing into the contest and going into the break ahead, they were undone by Paris’ composure and accuracy in the second half.
From slow start to halftime lead
Barça struggled for fluency early on as Paris set a high tempo and punished soft defence, edging the first quarter 18–21. The hosts improved in the second period through Shengelia and an energetic Cale, raising defensive intensity and moving the ball better to take control. Despite a late Paris response, Barça went into halftime in front, 43–39.
Second-half slump
A sluggish start to the third quarter saw Paris turn the game around with confident outside shooting and remarkable pace. Barça's lead slender lead was cut down to nothing and they struggled to find the rhythm they needed to get the momentum back on track. Instead, they watched the visitors pull clear (55–67) by the end of the period, capped by a Robinson three.
In the final quarter, the reaction never came. Paris stayed comfortable as Barça rushed possessions and continued to miss from range, the gap stretching to fifteen. Late pressure brought no real shift, the comeback was never quite on, and Paris’ efficiency sealed a 74–85 defeat.
