She is a superb player and already an FC Barcelona legend. Patri Guijarro knows the defensive midfielder position like the back of her hand, but has also brought her innate ability to build, organise and direct proceedings. The Mallorcan is still only 27 years old, having made her debut a decade ago now, and she has since become one of the key players in a legendary team.

Level with Marta Unzué on 360 appearances

She has played under Xavi Llorens, Fran Sánchez, Lluís Cortés, Jonatan Giráldez and now Pere Romeu. She has developed throughout her time at the club, accumulating appearances, and in Sunday's 4-0 defeat of Eibar, Patri has now surpassed Marta Unzué with her 361st appearance, placing her fifth on Barça Women’s all-time appearance list.

74 goals

Despite mainly having a holding role in those games, she has managed to score 74 goals, including her memorable brace in the Women's Champions League final against Wolfsburg that saw the side come back from 0-2 down to win after the goal by Rolfö. The thing is, Patri is a complete midfielder, and after almost three months out with injury, she is again playing a key role in the blaugrana engine room.

15 appearances behind Vicky Losada

In terms of the all-time list, she is pretty close to the 376 appearances by Vicky Losada, who is in fourth, but she has some way to go to enter the top three. Those are Marta Torrejón with 480 appearances and Alexia Putellas with 491, with the highest appearance-maker being Melanie Serrano on 517. Patri is pure Barça and her name is being engraved even further into the FC Barcelona roll of honour with every appearance.
