General Information
On Sunday 15 March, from 9.00am CET until 9.00pm CET the voting will take place for the FC Barcelona Board of Directors.
WHO CAN VOTE?
Members who can vote are those who fulfil the following criteria:
- Be of legal age and not legally impaired.
- Have been a member for a minimum of one year.
- Not have had membership suspended.
- Be included in the current electoral census.
WHERE TO VOTE
The polling stations will be shared out in the following locations
- Barcelona (Camp Nou and Palau Blaugrana)
- Girona, Lleida Tarragona and Tortosa
- Andorra
Voting can take place from 9.00am CET until 9.00pm CET.
With the aim of facilitating the right to vote, the club will set up five voting locations: one in each of the four Catalan provinces — Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona — and another in the Principality of Andorra. The electoral roll will be universal, meaning members may vote at any of these locations regardless of where they live. The specific venues will be announced at a later date.
NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION FOR VOTING
The vote will be personal, secret and free and to vote a valid identity card or document must be presented such as a driving license or current passport, non Spanish members must present a valid passport. It is advisable to bring your 2025 or 2026 Club membership card with you, either physically or on the MEMBERS APP, in order to access the voting area.
Any voting slip not considered to be an official slip coming from the Club, or one that is amended, ruined or altered in any way will be considered null and void.
HELP SERVICES AT THE FC BARCELONA FACILITIES
- T'acompanyem: A team of volunteers from the Red Cross will lend their help and accompany all members who need so.
- Information and attention points: The facilities will have various points for attention and information to resolve doubts or incidents.
MONITORING AND CONTROL OF THE ELECTORAL PROCESS: DRAW OF THE ELECTORAL BOARD AND COMMITTEE
The designation of the members of the Electoral Board and the Electoral Committee will be made by raffle, on Tuesday 10 February at 12pm, in Auditori 1899 within the Club's facilities. It is a public event for members. The draw will be made using the computer procedure detailed in article 26.5 of the Statutes, and in each case, Electoral Board must choose five members and one hundred alternates, and in the case of Electoral Committee, must choose five members and twenty five alternates.
The Electoral Board is the body that hears and resolves complaints submitted by members regarding the census, accepts or rejects candidacy proposals, decides on any incident that arises during the electoral process and together with the Electoral Committee, publishes the election results.
The Electoral Committee is the body that presides over and controls the voting process, designates the employees who will attend to the electoral process and the subsequent scrutiny, and among other functions, resolves incidents, queries or complaints that arise on voting day and draws up the record of the voting and, together with the Electoral Board, publishes the election results.
