On a cold and rain-soaked Saturday in Barcelona, the team held its final training session ahead of Real Oviedo’s visit to the Spotify Camp Nou, a league fixture that hasn’t been played for 25 years.

The session on the Tito Vilanova field featured all available first-team players, along with youth-team goalkeeper Gerard Sala. Hansi Flick’s side are bidding to stay top of the table, with Real Madrid just one point behind and playing away to Villarreal in the Saturday 9pm CET kick-off.

That means Barça will already know whether that lead can be extended or needs to be reclaimed, depending on how that game ends. Either way, the focus is firmly on Oviedo, with no room for complacency against a side desperate for points and arriving at the Spotify Camp Nou at the bottom of the table.
