FC Barcelona have taken their second Spanish Super Cup title in a row in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia after a 3-2 win over Real Madrid in the final. After overcoming Athletic Club in the semi-final, the victory in El Clásico hands the blaugranes their 16th Super Cup win, more than any other club with Real Madrid in second place on 13 titles.

Barça first won the trophy in 1983/1984 and since then they have won it in 1991/92, 1992/93, 1994/95, 1996/97, 2005/06, 2006/07, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2013/14, 2016/17, 2018/19, 2022/23, 2024/25 and 2025/26.

Two streaks broken

Barça’s win makes them the first league champions in eight seasons to win the Super Cup and the first team to retain the trophy since Pep Guardiola’s team won three in a row in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
