The Barça basketball team notched up an impressive 108-71 win over Covirán Granada in the Palau Blaugrana after a devastating performance in the second period from Xavi Pascual's team decided the contest.

The win sets Barça up nicely for their next fixture which comes in the Euroleague on Friday away from home against Real Madrid.

Dominant from the start

Granada put up a fight in the Palau in the opening quarter but Parra and Punter's points for the home side helped them to a 26-22 lead going into the second quarter. Before half time was when the blaugranes took control of the contest. Laprovittola and Punter from the perimeter and Vesely and Fall from the inside were too much for a Granada side who could only look on as Barça outscored them by 23 points in the quarter to take a 61-34 lead at the break.

In the second half the script remained the same with Fall impressing in the paint. The blaurganes extended their lead to some 30 points going into the final period. Brizuela contributed in the fourth quarter with Barça controlling their lead comfortably to run out 108-71 winners in the ACB league.
