The FC Barcelona first team squad will enjoy some well deserved time off over the upcoming holidays. The win over Villarreal maintains their four point lead at the top of La Liga going into the brief winter break. Hansi Flick's side will return to training on 29 January with an open doors training session at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

The session comes during the Christmas holidays and the FC Barcelona Foundation will use it to raise money for the "Blaugrana Wristband" project which helps projects aimed at children with long term stays in hospital.

The workout will be the first for the team as they prepare for the Catalan derby against Espanyol in La Liga on Saturday 3 January, kick off at 9pm CET.
