The blaugranes completed Saturday's session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, the final workout ahead of their final game of 2025. After the session the squad headed off to Villarreal where they will spend the night before Sunday's 4.15pm CET kick off. 

For the last game of the year, midfielder Pedri will be missing due to a thigh problem although coach Flick did say that it was just a precaution and that the Canary Islander should be back in time for the blaugranes' first game of 2026 against city rivals Espanyol on 3 January

Hansi Flick's side visit the Estadio de la Cerámica on Sunday to take on Villarreal with Barça four points clear of second placed Real Madrid in La Liga and some eight points ahead of Marcelino's side who are currently in third place having played two games less than their rivals.
