A win for Barça in the final away game of 2025, as the blaugranes came through 27-35 against BM Torrelavega in the Liga Asobal. Adrian Sola shone bright with six goals, as did Viktor Hallgrimsson with 15 saves.

Even start

Few goals from the off as the score was only 3-3 after nine minutes, with keepers Leo Tercariol and Viktor Hallgrimsson making three and four saves respectively. The blaugranes got their first sight of a lead six minutes later, despite Djordje Cikusa being sent off, as Ludovic Fàbregas scored two in a row to make it 4-8.

Pace stepped up

The lead remained more or less the same until the end of the first half, when the blaugranes stepped up the pace, with Makuc and Fàbregas reaching four goals each in the half, as their side went in 12-19 at the break.

More of the same

The blaugranes remained in charge after the restart with Hallgrimsson making three early saves, while the attacking damage was being done down the centre, including a goal by Elderaa to see the lead grow to +9 (18-27, min 42).

Two points to Barcelona

The home side fans pushed on their team and they responded, but Barça were also able to respond, particularly through Adrian Sola, with six goals in the game, and eight saves by Hallgrimsson in the second half (15 in total). The lead never actually dipped below seven and when the whistle blew, it was 27-35, confirming another domestic league win in the last away game of 2025.

Next up, a home match on 20 December against BM Logroño at the Palau Blaugrana, also in the Liga Asobal (5.00pm CET).
