The Spain national football team have won the UEFA Women's Nations League title after defeating Germany 3-0 in the final return leg. After the first leg nil-nil draw in Germany, the Spanish team earned the win and title at the Metropolitano stadium in Madrid.

Although Aitana missed due to serious injury and Serrajordi did not feature in the matchday squad, eight Barça players started for Sonia Bermúdez's side, namely Cata Coll in goal; Ona Batlle, Irene Paredes and Mapi León in defence; Laia Aleixandri and Alexia in midfield; and both goalscorers, Vicky López and Claudia Pina (2) in attack.

So, Spain and many FC Barcelona players have retained a trophy they already won in 2024, to add to the men's players who have achieved the same feat – Semedo with Portugal in 2019 and Jordi Alba, Gavi and Ansu Fati with Spain in 2023.
