A notable milestone for Jules Kounde as a blaugrana player today. His appearance against Atlético Madrid saw the defender equal Clément Lenglet to become the French footballer with third most competitive appearances all-time for FC Barcelona with 160.

Since joining in summer 2022, Kounde has shown outstanding continuity, becoming of the most used players by the coaching staff, and proving key for both the central defence and right back roles.
