Barça 2-0 Palma: Prestigious win
The European champions left the Palau Blaugrana empty-handed, as Barça Futsal produced a superb home performance to beat Illes Balears Palma Futsal. In an intense match with chances for both sides, Antonio and Adolfo, along with key saves from Dídac, made the difference. The win keeps Barça second in the table on 26 points, with eight victories from 12 games.
High-intensity start
As expected, the game began at a frantic pace, with both teams creating chances and Dídac Plana and Dennis called into action. Gradually, Barça took control, with Touré and Pito going close before Antonio finally struck with one of his trademark long-range rockets on the quarter hour. Just before half-time, Adolfo doubled the lead after a brilliant team move finished by an Eric Martel assist.
Home win
After the break, Palma pushed forward but found a solid Barça and a confident Dídac in goal. Touré, Pito and Martel all had chances to finish the game, but the two-goal cushion held firm. Even with Luan Muller and later Matheus Maia acting as rush goalkeepers, Palma couldn’t find a way past Dídac, and the three points stayed at the Palau.
