On Friday morning local time the FC Barcelona squad carried out another training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, the final workout before Saturday's fixture against Alavés at Spotify Camp Nou in La Liga, kick off 4.15pm CET. 

Pedri will be back 

Hansi Flick had his eyes on the game against the Basques in the session with Pedri taking part in some of the workout. Later the coach confirmed that the midfielder would figure at some point against Alavés. 

Youth team players Eder Aller, Tommy Marqués, Jofre Torrents and Dro Fernández also took part in the session. 

Araujo, missing due to illness

Ronald Araujo missed the session due to a stomach bug and in the pre-game press conference on Friday, coach Hansi Flick confirmed that the Uruguayan defender will be missing against Alavés.
