There were some very special visitors to the Spotify Camp Nou today. The Barça Women squad, Pere Romeu, and his entire coaching staff all joined director responsible for women's football Xavi Puig for an up close view on how the stadium redevelopment work is progressing.

It was the first time the team had seen the new Spotify Camp Nou in person and they had a tour through key areas such as the director's box and the dressing rooms, including the dedicated dressing room for Barça Women, and the blaugranes were able to get their own feel of what being back at the stadium will be like. Let's not forget this was where they broke the attendance record on their debut and they had a group photo taken on the pitch to capture this moment too.

Spotify Camp Nou visit ahead of the team back at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys

The visit comes at a special time, ahead of their return to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys to take on Real Madrid in the Liga F matchday 11 fixture, kickoff 4.00pm CET on 15 November.

This will be the third Barça Women v Real Madrid Femenino match on Montjuïc, yet another on the magic mountain, which always plays host to important blaugrana games in both the league and the Champions League. It's a tradition that matches the commitment of FC Barcelona to women's football, which in fact began at Spotify Camp Nou on March 2022, for the return leg of the UWCL quarterfinals against their opponents this Saturday. That match that went down in history as it broke the attendance record for a women's football game at the time, with 91,553 people inside the stadium.

The Catalans are hoping for the incondicional support of their fans as usual for the upcoming match to continue breaking records and moving the world together. Everyone attending the match on Saturday can collect clappers at the gates to show their blaugrana passion throughout the afternoon, while there will also be special activities during the build up, with a DJ providing the soundtrack and games in the stands, among other features. Everyone will have to be on their toes at halftime too, as partners Vueling are organising an activity with an amazing prize and there will be a live performance by Els Catarres.
