Reus Deportiu 3-5 Barça: Great start in Europe
Barça have returned to Europe with an important win over Reus. In a high-quality roller hockey clash, Ricard Ares’ team earned their first three Champions League points to start the campaign on the right foot.
Reus had taken an early lead through Joan Salvat, but despite trailing early, Barça soon equalised thanks to a long-range effort from Sergi Aragonès.
Martí Casas restored the home side’s advantage, only for Eloi Cervera to equalise before half-time. After a close-fought first half, Barça then started to take control in the second.
Aragonès and Alabart made it 4-2, and despite a reply from Jansà, Ferran Font finished off a counterattack to secure the win. Sergi Fernández later saved a penalty to preserve the result.
Next up: Trissino at the Palau.
